Human security and sustainable development are two of the major tasks of the UN, and the US and the other four permanent members of the UN Security Council should naturally be willing to comply. The solution is to enforce the core values of One World under One Set of Laws and recognition that international law takes priority over domestic law, with direct effect on the rights and duties of the people.
