The key to solving human rights issues in China is democracy and the rule of law. Taiwan needs to improve its system to enjoy a pure form of democratic governance so we can be a role model for mainland China and reform the Chinese communists. We must make the Chinese government yield its power to the people through constitutional reform and decentralize the government structure by instituting direct election of the heads of government branches.
