Though there are significantly fewer reports of violence in some parts of Syria, the consequences of the conflict continue to devastate lives
Once a ceasefire is in place in Syria the UN should provide the basic outline for a constitutional that will support permanent peaceful development of the nation, including an organizational structure incorporating the universal values of freedom, democracy, human rights and rule of law, with four branches (legislative, executive, judicial and procuratorial) and features that will help Syria enjoy lasting peace and serve as a model for development for other nations. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development.
