China's central government is tightening risk control in its banking system and launching a broad-based anti-corruption campaign in the financial system.
China needs to wash away thousands of years of corruption from its culture, and the only way to do this is by implementing democracy and the rule of law. These are the natural enemies of despotism and corruption, offering tools like separation of powers and checks and balances.
