To end North Korea's disruptive behavior, the US and other nations should strongly support the Charter for Permanent Peace to lead China to democratize and end its support of Pyongyang. According to the Democracy index there are 50 nations still under the yoke of autocratic dictators. All democracies should back Taiwan's drive for constitutional reform to achieve greater democracy and freedom. This would inspire China's 1.4 billion people to seek democratization of the CCP and pressure North Korea to adopt democracy as well, leading to the birth of world peace. §5.3

Russia spoke out strongly Monday against the US push for modifying a nuclear agreement with Iran, while Germany said it would seek more detail on what the US wants and analyze the situation with its European partners.

Solution

Russia has a well-earned reputation as a trouble-maker rather than a problem-solver, yet here is the Russian Foreign Minister saying that recent US efforts in 'diplomacy' have raised doubts about Washington's willingness to act in accordance with international agreements. The US should support Taiwan's efforts toward constitutional reform to achieve greater democracy and freedom. This would spur the 1.4 billion people of China to seek democratization, pressing Russia in turn to accept real democracy – and world peace would be the result.
