Brexit Leader Nigel Farage Admits Britain May Need a Second Referendum

Mr. Brexit confesses that Britain may need to vote again with half of the country in revolt.

Solution

A growing number of citizens of the UK are having second thoughts about their votes for Brexit, while others are ruing their complacency in failing to vote against the proposal — whether due to bad weather or misjudgment over the probable outcome of the vote. In either case, it appears a second referendum would have a very different result and another vote would indeed be a good idea. The obvious solution is to start a movement for a second referendum, one that will be free of the rhetoric and exaggeration that marked the first go-around. Iraq will not be free of the scourge of ISIS until it can offer its citizens a government that is based on democratic ideals and sovereignty lies in the hands of the people. The foundation for permanent peace in Iraq should be a change-over in its government structure. The UN should provide Iraq the basic outline for a constitution that will facilitate lasting peace and development, incorporating the universal values of freedom, democracy, human rights and rule of law, with elements such as the four branches and separation of powers and checks and balances. Article 39 of the Hong Kong Basic Law stipulates that the people of the SAR have right to self-determination under the two international human rights conventions. The people of Hong Kong cannot take their rights for granted. In Switzerland the threshold for petitioning a referendum is only 50,000 signatures, and with that citizens can express their opinion through the ballot box instead of taking to the streets.
