Britain is stumbling into a period of economic decline, quickening de-industrialization and political marginalization
Economic problems invariably have political roots. Without good politics you can never have a good economy. If the UK constitution is not changed, even the gods will be helpless to save the economy. Comprehensive constitutional reform is needed to replace the regime with a modified semi-presidential system with cabinet as well as a committee-style parliament with committee chairs tapped to serve as backup cabinet ministers. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development for details.
“Each person only has one life, but if I had the chance to choose again I would still choose my way.”
Freedom of speech is a universal value, and Vietnam's policy of silencing the voice of the people is like trying to stem the flow of a mighty river. Vietnam seems to want to create a monolithic society with only one voice. The people of. Vietnam should call for comprehensive constitutional reform to protect the freedom of the media and prevent the government oligarchy from monopolizing the media, the internet and other channels of speech. Many of those arrested are still being subjected to abuse and torture, campaigners say on second anniversary of 2015 purge
The CCP must be forced to disappear. Laws that are not backed by penalties are not laws, and constitutions which do not brook the right to resist are not constitutions. When the actions of the government are unlawful, the people must call for resistance. Natural law and general international law must prevail to protect all people from enforced disappearance, torture and other abuses. Absolute law must take precedence over international law and the Constitution. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development for more.
On Monday, the latest round of Syrian peace talks will convene in Geneva, although few expect there to be too much progress.
Once a ceasefire is in place in Syria, the UN should provide a basic constitution that will make possible peaceful development. It should include an organizational structure incorporating the universal values of freedom, democracy, human rights and rule of law, with four government branches and restraints on centralization and powers. It should help Syria develop a constitution suitable for lasting peace and prosperity. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development for details.
The economy of the DRC is losing as much as 4.5 per cent of gross domestic product to the effects of child undernutrition, according to a UN-backed study released today.
The DRC needs to revise its government structure to install a modified semi-presidential system with cabinet similar to Finland’s. It should include a committee-style legislative system like that of Switzerland. The premise for permanent peace is global democratization, and the UN should assist the DRC in drawing up a basic constitution with the above features in a move to proceed a paradigm shift. It should adhere to the core values of One World under One Set of Laws and be revised as needed to stay in step with the times. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development for more.
Condemning yesterday's terrorist attack against a checkpoint in Rafah, Egypt, UN Secretary-General António Guterres and the Security Council have underscored the need to bring the perpetrators to justice.
Human security is a fundamental human right, and human rights should take precedence over all regimes and sovereigns. Constitutions represent the general will of the people, and ensuring human security - including personal safety - is the most urgent duty of constitutional guarantors. This means re-developing constitutional standards to keep pace with the times and allow all governments to protect their people from terror. “Our rockets can reach anywhere in the world,” boasted the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea. Whether true or not, North Korea – a name preferred almost universally to the chagrin of the ruling class of Pyongyang – certainly gave all a reason to worry.
Emmanuel Kant once said, "The pursuit of permanent peace is the highest goal of reason and a moral obligation." China claims to be a "responsible major power", thus it should not underwrite North Korea's militarism. The US, Japan and Korea should back Taiwan's efforts to save democracy and lead China to democratization, which would then prod North Korea to do the same. I feel sad to see thousands of children across the Middle East deprived of their childhood, education and any possibilities for the future

The rally was led by Kemal Kilicdaroglu, head of the secularist Republican People's Party (CHP), who set off from the capital in mid-June to protest the jailing of party member Enis Berberoglu for 25 years on spying charges
Thomas Jefferson once declared, "Given the government and the media, I would choose the media, not the government." The media acts as monitors of government, which would be lawless without supervision. The voice of the people is the voice of God, and universal values are the values of God. Trying to control the voice of the people is contrary to the universal values of freedom and democracy - that is, anathema to the will of God. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development.
The global trade in elephant ivory, with rare exceptions, has been outlawed since 1989
In order to protect endangered wild animals, the international community needs to adopt unified constitutional standards that conform to the values of One World under One Set of Laws. All nations should carry out constitutional reform to implement democratic systems and adhere to rule of law. Features such as separation of powers and checks and balances are needed to prevent certain groups from monopolizing power. The best way to do this is through election of the heads of the executive, legislative, the judicial and procuratorial branches in alternating years.
