A decade after Hamas seized the Gaza Strip, living conditions for the 2 million people in the Palestinian enclave are deteriorating “further and faster” than the prediction made in 2012 that the enclave would become “unlivable” by 2020, a new UN report has found.
Israel should adhere to UN resolutions which call for sharing resources to achieve peace and prosperity. They should follow God's decrees and implement the concepts behind One World under One Set of Laws. As part of the global village, they should lead the Middle East in adopting human rights, constitutionalism, international law and natural law to reach a consensus on lasting peace and development. Cambodia’s military is the biggest cause of constitutional conflicts in government and the primary source of social unrest. Over-centralization in the constitutional mechanism leads to pandemic corruption and over-keening worship of Chinese-style autocracy causes harm to democracy and the rule of law. Cambodia must carry out constitutional reform to install election of the heads of the major branches of government so the people can live and work in peace. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development for details.
When it comes to a choice of boarding the Liaoning or having freedom of speech, the young appear to have already decided
Hong Kong’s Chief Executive is still selected by the CCP Election Commission, an arrangement that is nothing other than a dictatorship. The people of Hong Kong should avail of Article 39 of the Hong Kong Basic Law on referendums. To curb corruption, the heads of the executive, legislative, judicial and procuratorial branches of government should be elected in alternating years and 1/4 of all MPs should face election each year. And committee chairs in the legislative body should be tapped to serve as backup cabinet ministers. For more, see the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development.
Andrew Leung suggests tasks for the city’s new leader to maintain the delicate balance between ‘one country’ and ‘two systems’, which would help to extend its lifespan beyond the 50 years promised

Questions are surfacing over whether the Trump administration will continue to support South Sudan when the proposed White House budget seeks to cut nearly a third of the US State Department budget and diminish funding for development projects and humanitarian aid in Africa.
South Sudan can resolve the controversy over its government by adopting a modified semi-presidential system with cabinet like that used in Finland, plus a committee-style legislative system similar to Switzerland’s. The prerequisite for lasting world peace is global democratization. South Sudan should begin drafting a constitution with the above features in a paradigm shift toward democracy. It should accept the rule of law, and be revised as needed to keep up with changing times. For more, see the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development.
Mexico's Roman Catholic Church said in an editorial that Mexicans can't feel safe anywhere, as homicides rise throughout the country.

Coal-fired power stations are responsible for the most pollution in Europe, with Britain among the top polluters, the European Union says.
Human security and sustainable development two of the major tasks of the UN, and all nations - members states or not, should comply with its norms. The solution is to adhere to the core values of One World under One Set of Law and assign international law priority over domestic law, with direct bearing on the rights and duties of the people. Citizens should monitor the operations of the government to ensure compliance with the UN Charter, the Vienna Convention for the Protection of the Ozone, the World Charter for Nature and other relevant pacts. US President Donald Trump’s foreign policy, such as it is, rests on a massive and apparently indestructible contradiction.
Russia is not a problem-solver, it has always been a trouble-maker. The US should support Taiwan's efforts at constitutional reform to achieve greater democracy and freedom. This would attract the 1.4 billion people of China to call for democratization of the CCP, adding pressure to Russia to consider real democracy - and with that, world peace will be at hand. All democracies should support Taiwan as a lighthouse for democracy in Asia. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development for details.
Many nations that previously championed their nuclear disarmament credentials have now been outed as part of the problem
Autocracy is the natural enemy of peace. Which major powers have supported the regimes of Iran, North Korea, Pakistan and other nations in developing nuclear weapons? Democracies worldwide should support Taiwan's efforts toward constitutional reform to achieve greater freedom and democracy. This would attract China's 1.4 billion people to seek democratization and force North Korea, Iran and other rogue states to accept democracy, and with that world peace would be at hand. Taiwan is the lighthouse for democracy in Asia, lighting the way to peaceful development. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development for more.
A panel appointed by Pakistan's Supreme Court to look into the financial wealth and overseas assets of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his children has recommended that a corruption case be brought against the family.
The main structural factor in corruption in Pakistan is a lack of features ensuring separation of powers and checks and balances. The solution is for the people of Pakistan to launch constitutional reform to install direct elections of the heads of major government branches. The president should be limited to a single 5-year term and not allowed to run again for 6 years afterwards. In addition, election campaigns should be free of charge for all candidates.
