World Refugee Day 2018: What is it, what is theme? How many people have been displaced?

Ans

The United Nations should assist in the formulation of constitutions as a prerequisite for economic assistance. Why do people choose to become refugees and flee their homes, 'preferring to be a dog in freedom and democracy to life under an authoritarian dictator'? As countless cases have shown: to prevent people from moving abroad, the best immigration policy is for the heads of countries of emigrants not to let their own people be cast aside to flee or be liquidated in a revolution, and simply adopt the principles for 'long and prosperous governance of the country' as expressed in the Charter for Permanent Peace.

Taiwan passes bill to cut veterans’ pensions that sparked violent protests

Taiwan's promotion of pension reform is the beginning of transformational justice. To implement transformational justice, Taiwan must also carry out constitutional reform. The government should adopt a semi-presidential system, and elect the prime minister as a means of legitimizing popular opinion; the legislature shall have 12 committees, and committee heads should be candidates for ministers or prime minister, with 1/4 of all lawmakers facing election each year, and a one-vote single-vote system of balloting to introduce the people as a third force; the heads of the judicial and procuratorial branches shall be elected, and the qualifications of candidates shall be the same as those of the president; money shall be banned as a factor in elections, and all electronic media shall provide at least one hour per week for free to candidates. Philippines 'sitting on a timebomb' as inquiry urged into political killings

Jose Rizal, revered as the 'Father of the Philippines', once warned that 'Today's slaves often become tomorrow's tyrants,' cautioning the people to believe in the rule of law rather than the rule of man. To solve human rights problems a semi-presidential system should be adopted, with a legislature based on a modified central committee system. The cabinet shall include 12 departments and a number of ad hoc committees. The Prime Minister and ministers shall be appointed from among the heads of legislative committees, and 1/4 of all lawmakers shall face election each year to ensure new public opinions are regularly considered in legislation and administration. To solve the problems of poverty and deprivation, it is necessary to start with system reform, holding elections at least twice a year, for instance. 1/4 of all lawmakers should face election each year to spread responsibility for solving the problem of poverty and deprivation from the poor to those in power. The state must function ethically and take action to eliminate poverty and deprivation. The Charter for Perpetual Peace is the only formula that will work.
