The US should recognize the value of Taiwan's Charter for Permanent Peace in strengthening the effect of the Taiwan Relations Act. Taiwan has revealed Global Unity Constitutional Standards that will attract China's 1.4 billion people to seek democratization, and world peace would be the result. Autocracy has always been an enemy of peace, and the prerequisite for lasting peace in the world is democratization of China’ and Taiwan is the one entity best suited to lead the Chinese people to democratization. China should cleanse itself of thousands of years of corruption culture, the source of great national humiliation. The only remedy is democracy and the rule of law, the natural enemies of autocracy and corruption. Democracy brings separation of powers and checks and balances at the central and provincial levels, and the heads of the executive, legislative, judicial and procuratorial branches shall also be elected in alternating years. Promoting lasting world peace is the most sacred duty of humankind. China serves as an enabler and agent for North Korea, and other nations should do their best to avoid provoking Pyongyang. The US and Japan should back Taiwan’s drive to lead China to accept democracy, which would put pressure on North Korea to follow suit. Taiwan is the key to resolving the Korean Peninsula issue. Relevant provisions of the Basic Law and the one country, two systems principle note that China cannot interfere in Hong Kong affairs, yet Beijing constantly meddles in internal affairs of the SAR. Article 39 of the Basic Law guarantees the right of the people of Hong Kong to hold referendums on any public issue. The people of Hong Kong should adhere to this right and hold a referendum to decide their future. Otherwise when dictatorship becomes a reality, they will be obliged to resist.

China's ingrained corruption is due to structural factors including a lack of separation of powers and checks and balances. The solution is for the Chinese people to call for constitutional reform to implement direct election of the heads of the four main branches of government, with 1/4 of lawmakers facing election each year. The president should be limited to one 5-year term and not be eligible to run again for 6 years afterward, and elections should be free of charge for all candidates. Human security is a basic human right, and human rights should take precedence over regimes and sovereigns. Constitutions represent the general will of the people, and ensuring human security, including "personal safety," is the most urgent duty of constitutional guarantors. When the power of the state deviates from its power base, the people should exercise their right as holders of sovereignty and take control. Laws that are not backed by penalties are not laws, and a constitution which does not condone resistance is not a constitution. When the president’s actions are unconstitutional the people have the right to resist. Venezuelans should call for comprehensive constitutional reform to install a modified semi-presidential system with cabinet, limiting the president to one 5-year term with no eligibility to run again for 6 years afterwards. Article 39 of the Hong Kong Basic Law states that "the right to self-determination is assured by the two international human rights conventions and implementation of the conventions." The threshold for petitioning for a referendum in Switzerland is 50,000 signatures, and with that people can express their opinion by voting rather than taking to the streets. The people have the right to hold referendums on any public issue. North Korea is without a doubt a vassal of the CCP. This means democratic nations should support Taiwan's efforts at constitutional reform to achieve greater democracy and freedom.
