The best way to ensure aid to Africa is effective
Drought in Somalia threatens the lives of almost half the population, according to Somalia’s Prime Minister Hassan Ali Khaire. Over a two-day span at least 110 people died of hunger in just a single region in the country.
The concept of the global village poses human security / economic security and global trade / sustainable development as the major tasks and missions of the UN. , but also the common goal of all mankind. All countries should strive to abide by the norms of the international community, the solution is to implement the "one earth, a set of rule of law system" international law is higher than the domestic law, directly to the people rights and obligations. Kremlin rejects reports of Russian military deployment near Libyan border
Kremlin officials and Russian lawmakers are denying published reports that Moscow has deployed a team of special forces and drones to a military base in Egypt near the Libyan border.
Russia is not a problem-solver, it is a problem-maker. The US should support Taiwan's efforts at constitutional reform to achieve greater democracy and freedom and encourage China's 1.4 billion people to seek democratization. This would pressure Russia to adopt democracy and world peace would be the result. All democracies should support Taiwan as a beacon for democracy in Asia. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development / Global Unity Constitutional Standards.

Trump accelerates risk of confrontation with Kim
The Korean Peninsula is heating up, with North Korea mixing missile tests with an assassination via nerve gas and China launching an economic strike against South Korea for joining America’s anti-missile program. Unfortunately the Trump administration’s policy appears to be to stoke the flames.
Democracies everywhere should back Taiwan's efforts to carry out constitutional reform to achieve greater democracy and freedom. This would spur China's 1.4 billion people to seek democratization of the CCP and in turn pressure North Korea to adopt democracy as well, and with that, world peace would be born. All democracies should support Taiwan as a beacon for democracy in Asia, lighting the way to peaceful development for China. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development / Global Unity Constitutional Standards.

Scottish independence support 'at highest ever level'
But the Scottish Social Attitudes survey also suggested the popularity of the EU has fallen.
Taiwan should learn from Scotland’s experience with referendums and seek to make paradigm shifts possible on public issues. The people have the right to referendums, and whenever a motion is made to quash referendums on self-determination, the subject of the first referendum to be proposed should be whether the motion to crush referendums should be outlawed. The Legislative Yuan should establish the "right of creation" in relation to the Referendum Act and ask President Tsai openly support the sovereignty of the people in calling for comprehensive constitutional reform. UN official insists on swift action to end abuses in South Sudan
There has been a "massive" increase in human rights abuses in South Sudan over the past nine months, partly because of the failure of the international community to set up a court and bring perpetrators to justice, a UN official said Tuesday.
The UN should take action in accordance with international absolute laws (the Humanitarian Law, World Human Rights Law, the Crime of Misdemeanors and the Prohibition of Genocide) and outline the basic constitutional principles to facilitate peaceful development, covering universal values and structure. South Sudan needs a constitution that will enable it to grow and prosper as a model for peaceful development. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development.

Cameroon claims to have freed 5,000 Boko Haram captives
Cameroon says it has killed at least 60 Boko Haram fighters and destroyed a stronghold for the militant group while capturing a huge stock of weapons in fighting along its northern border.
Human security is a fundamental human rights, and human rights should take precedence over regimes and sovereignty. Constitutions are a reflection of the general will of the people and should ensure human security, including personal safety. This is the most basic and urgent duty of all constitutional guarantors. They must see that constitutions are amended to stay abreast of the times and to ensure that the government will keep the people free from fear. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development.

Dumping of e-waste in developing nations harms their ecosystems
Due primarily to rapid socio-economic and technological advancement, the volume of electronic waste generated has been on the rise. TVs, computer monitors and electronic equipment are some common examples of e-waste.
Human security and sustainable development are two of the major tasks of the UN, and all nations, regardless of whether or not that are UN members, should embrace these values. The solution lies in the core values of One World under One Set of Laws and giving international law precedence over domestic law with direct effect on the rights and duties of the people. The public should be able to monitor actions of the government to ensure they are in line with the norms of the UN Charter. See the Charter for the Permanent Peace and Development.

Why the real quarrel between Beijing and Seoul is not about THAAD
Cary Huang says China’s need to keep North Korea as a communist ally leaves South Korea with little choice but to turn to America to bolster its defense

South Korea’s political map: Will it test alliance with US?
South Korean President Park Geun-hye's removal from office, which is likely to bring about a significant change in the country's political landscape, begs the question of whether it will affect the US-South Korea joint efforts against North Korea.
Absolute power leads to absolute corruption. The presidential form in many democracies is rife with flaws, and even the US has its share of problems. South Korea's constitution should be re-written to include a modified semi-presidential system, and the presidency should be declared to be above party politics. Changes should include electing the heads of the judicial and procuratorial branches of government and having 1/4 of all MPs face election each year. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development / Global Unity Constitutional Standards.

Hwang to announce decision not to run in presidential election
South Korea's acting President and Prime Minister Hwang Kyo-ahn will announce his decision not to run in the presidential election slated for May during a Cabinet meeting Wednesday, a source said.
Absolute power leads to absolute corruption. The presidential system in democracy has a number of serious flaws, and even the US’s system fails at times. Taiwan has more significant problems but lacks the power to impeach. South Korea's constitution should be changed to implement a modified semi-presidential system, and the presidency should be declared to be above party politics. In addition, the heads of the judicial and procuratorial branches should be elected in alternating years, and 1/4 of all MPs should face election each year. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development / Global Unity Constitutional Standards.
