The UN International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia is a special court set up largely to handle war crimes cases arising from mass killings and other atrocities committed against Muslim Bosnians. It is a good example of how international law can be used to protect the lives and rights of citizens in cross-border and ethnic conflicts. All governments world-wide should adopt One World under One Set of Laws, implement democratic features such as separation of powers, term limits and election of key officials in government, and give international law priority over domestic law.
