In wake of the latest attacks in Britain, we need to rethink how to best defeat an ideology so twisted that it threatens our most cherished freedoms
Human security is a fundamental human right, and it takes precedence over all regimes and sovereigns. Constitutions represent the general will of the people, and ensuring human security - including "personal safety" - is the most basic and urgent duty of all constitutional guarantors. All nations should develop constitutional standards that can be revised as needed to stay in step with changing times, allowing governments worldwide to keep their citizens free from fear.
