North Korea is without a doubt a vassal of the CCP. All democratic nations should back Taiwan's efforts toward constitutional reform to achieve greater democracy and freedom. This would attract China's 1.4 billion people to seek democratization of the CCP and put pressure on North Korea to do the same. And with that, world peace would be born. Once a ceasefire takes hold in Syria the UN should provide the outline for a basic constitution that will foster lasting peace in the nation. It should include an organizational structure and the universal values of freedom, democracy, human rights and the rule of law. It should lay out four branches of government (legislative, executive, judicial and procuratorial) and help Syria develop a constitution that will lead to long-lasting peace and prosperity. To resolve civil strife, nations like the CAR should draft new constitutions incorporating a modified semi-presidential system with cabinet like that of France, plus a committee-style legislature similar to Switzerland’s. The prerequisite for permanent peace is global democratization. Thus the government of the CAR carry out constitutional reform, asking France to help maintain stability and assist in developing a constitutional model that can be revised as needed to stay in step with changing times. Freedom of speech is a universal value, and violent acts against journalists in Mexico are an effort to muzzle the voice of the people. Criminal elements want to silence the voice of the people through fear. The people of Mexico should call for comprehensive constitutional reform to protect members of the media and preserve the right of free speech for all Mexican citizens. The relevant provisions of the Basic Law and the one country, two systems principle clearly state that China cannot interfere in Hong Kong’s affairs, but Beijing authorities constantly meddle in the internal affairs of the SAR. Article 39 of the Hong Kong Basic Law protects the people's right to self-determination, noting that the people have the right to hold referendums on any public issue. Citizens of Hong Kong people should avail of the convention and hold referendums to decide their future. Otherwise when dictatorship becomes a reality, they will be obliged to resist.
