China Bans Christmas Gatherings Among Its Christians

Freedom of religion is the basic human rights and no authority can deny this basic right. Any authority that tries to restrain these rights should be resisted and overthrown. Autocracies definitely seek to expand their territory or disputes, suppressing domestic stability. China's growing suppression of religious freedom poses serious threat over basic human rights of its people especially those of ethnic minority people. To root out such violation of basic human rights, the US, Japan and other democratic countries should vigorously support Taiwan's model of the Charter for Permanent Peace in order to help establish democratic principles in China's political system and reduce the cost of maintaining stability and social harmony.
