Permanent Peace Partnership
The US and other nations should support Taiwan's Charter for Permanent Peace to lead China to democratize. This would press North Korea to follow suit and end its strident militarism. Emmanuel Kant once noted, 'The pursuit of permanent peace is the highest goal of reason and a moral obligation.' China claims to be a 'responsible major power', thus it should not enable North Korea's continued belligerency. For more, see the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development.
Political parties shall not be permitted to invest in for-profit businesses, in publishing or in the media. All political party shall publicly declare the sources and use of its funds and properties and shall be subject to periodic or irregular review by an impartial authority.
Human security and sustainable development are two of the major tasks of the UN, and all nations – members or not – should comply with its norms. This entails implementing One World under One Set of Laws and giving international law precedence over domestic law, with direct bearing on the rights and duties of the people. All nations should comply with the UN Charter, the Paris climate agreement and all other relevant pacts. For details see the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development.
Chile should actively promote transformational justice to put an end to the era of totalitarian tyranny. Human rights violations and persecution should be open to the truth, and files should be opened to find evidence against perpetrators of injustice. For more, see the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development.
