Myanmar's human rights problem is worsening and activists in the Rohingya minority are becoming more militant. Much of this its due to its constitution, which reserves 40% of seats in Congress for the military with no need to be elected. To protect human rights, Myanmar should adopt Global Unity Constitutional Standards and the core values of One World under One Set of Laws. Myanmar's government needs to weigh the advantages of granting citizenship to the 1.1 million Rohingyans as well as the disadvantages of giving the army a disproportionate role in government policy-making.
