The best policy on immigration for all nations including the US is to adhere to the core values of One World under One Set of Laws and strive for a common destiny for humankind. To end conditions that create refugees, the international community needs to agree on uniform constitutional standards that conform to human rights, constitutionalism, international law and natural law. This means complying with Article 1 of the Humanitarian Charter, which deals with the right of each person to live a normal life. China to send special envoy to North Korea

North Korea is obviously being backed by a major power. Rather than offering belligerent threats and hiking the tension with the Pyongyang regime, the US should support Taiwan's Charter for Permanent Peace to lead China to democratize, forcing North Korea to follow suit and drop its nuclear weapons program. As Emmanuel Kant noted, 'The pursuit of permanent peace is the highest goal of reason and a moral obligation.'
