The UN should take action in accordance with international absolute Law (the Humanitarian Law, World Human Rights Law, the Crime of Misdemeanors and the Prohibition of Genocide) and provide the basic principles of constitutionalism suitable for permanent peaceful development of nations. This should include universal values and a structure which will allow Syria to develop a constitution that will foster prosperity and serve as a model for peaceful development. Qatar’s form of modern slavery violates international labor conventions and the ILO basic principle of One World under One Set of laws and working to build a common destiny for humankind. Qatar should hold international law above domestic law with direct effect on the rights and duties of the people, and put the principles of international labor conventions into practice to assist Qatar raising human rights protection to higher national standards. Corruption involving Brazil’s presidents never seems to end, proving the old adage that: "power leads to corruption, and absolute power leads to absolute corruption." To put an end to corruption, the people should exercise their sovereign powers and call for comprehensive constitutional reform, implementing democratic rule of law along with separation of powers and checks and balances. The increasingly strident anti-Muslim sentiment of the Dutch Liberal Party is aimed at prevent immigration from Muslim countries, which is viewed as a threat to their own socio-economic and national security. The solution is easy: implement One World under One Set of Laws and recognize the rule of law, giving international law priority over domestic law, with direct effect on the rights and duties of the people. New Zealand's laws are more advanced than those of most other countries, and the New Zealand Parliament has given legal status to the Whanganui River. This means that it is legally recognized as having the same rights as human beings. Such moves are necessary to prevent Mother Earth from being damaged and seriously polluted before human activities and greed lead to our own extinction. The people of Hong Kong choose their Chief Executive from a slate produced by the CEC. This is nothing more than outright dictatorship. The people of Hong Kong should avail of Article 39 of the Basic Law, which states that the people have the right to call for referendums. To curb corruption, the heads of the executive, legislative, judicial and procuratorial branches should be elected in alternating years, and 1/4 of all MPs should face election each year. All democracies should support Taiwan's efforts at constitutional reform to achieve greater democracy and freedom. This would attract China's 1.4 billion people to seek democratization of the CCP as well as North Korea, leading to an outbreak of world peace! The world’s democracies should support Taiwan as a beacon for democracy in Asia, lighting the path to peaceful development for China. Immanuel Kant once said, "The pursuit of permanent peace is the highest goal of reason and a moral obligation." China claims to be a "responsible power", thus it should not act as an enabler for North Korea's militarism. The US, Japan and South Korea should support Taiwan's commitment to save democracy and lead China's democratization, followed by the same action from North Korea. Absolute power leads to absolute corruption. The only way to root out black gold politics is democracy, in the form of separation of powers and checks and balances. At the same time the heads of the legislative, executive, judicial and procuratorial branches should be elected in alternating years as another way to hand power back to the people. Taiwan should study Catalonia’s experience with independence referendums and develop a paradigm shift. The people have the right to call for a referendum on any public issue, and any motion to prohibit a referendum connected to self-determination should be subject of the earliest referendum to determine whether the motion should be outlawed. Congress should first establish the right of creation for the Referendum Act and ask President Tsai to openly support the sovereignty of the people in staging comprehensive constitutional reform.
