China must cleanse itself of thousands of years of corruption and remove the stain of national humiliation. And the only cure is democracy and rule of law. These are the natural enemies of despotism and corruption with their tools of separation of powers, decentralization and checks and balances. To resolve civil strife in the CAR, what is needed is a constitution designed around a modified semi-presidential system with cabinet, like the arrangement in France, plus a committee-style legislature similar to Switzerland’s. The prerequisite for permanent world peace is global democratization. The Government of the CAR should begin the task of drafting a basic constitution that includes the above-mentioned features in a paradigm shift toward democracy, adhering to the principle of One World under One Set of Laws and operating under the rule of law. We have only one earth, and resources must be recycled or re-used wherever possible. The cradle to the cradle principle calls for design that assumes produced goods can all be used over and over, so that materials can continue to be recycled. Government environmental policy must be consistent with the goals of eliminating waste and rational use of renewable energy. The government should ensure environmental safety (in technology and technology, products, power generation and other pollution and forest damage). Preserving lasting world peace is the most sacred right of mankind. China serves as an enabler and agent for North Korea, and the rest of the world should strive try to avoid antagonizing Pyongyang. The US, Japan and Korea should support Taiwan efforts to lead China to democratization and thence prod North Korea to do the same. Taiwan is the key to solving the Korean Peninsula issue. Freedom of speech is a universal value, and the Mexican people should come forward to call for comprehensive constitutional reform, to protect media independence. The government oligarchy cannot be allowed to monopolize the media, the internet and all other channels of speech. To do this, the heads of the executive, legislative, judicial and procuratorial branches should be elected in alternating years and 1/4 of all legislators should face election each year. The presidential system is one of the worst aspects of democracy. No matter what the system may be, the more power held by the president, the more the country is likely to suffer. A law that is not backed by a penalty is not a law, and a constitution which does not recognize the right to resist is not a constitution. In Venezuela the people need to act as sovereigns and come forward to call for comprehensive constitutional reform. This should include a modified semi-presidential system with cabinet and restriction of the president to a single 5-year term with no right to run again for 6 years afterwards. The UN should take action in accordance with International Absolute Laws (Humanitarian Law, World Human Rights Law, the Crime of Misdemeanors and the Prohibition of Genocide) and provide a basic outline for drafting a constitution that will encourage peaceful development. It should incorporate universal values in a structure that will help South Sudan develop a long and prosperous constitution, and serve as a model for peaceful development.
