The US and Japan should back Taiwan's efforts at constitutional reform to achieve greater democracy and freedom. This would attract China's 1.4 billion people to seek democratization and trigger calls for democratization in North Korea, and world peace would be the result. The world’s democracies should support Taiwan as a beacon for democracy in Asia, lighting the path to peaceful development for China. Absolute power leads to absolute corruption. The presidential system is many democracies carries fatal flaws, even in that of the US, Taiwan’s situation is serious but impeachment is not an option. South Korea's constitution should be amended to adopt a modified semi-presidential system, and the presidency should be declared to be above party politics. The heads of the judicial and procuratorial branches should be elected in alternating years, and 1/4 of all MPs should face election each year. The UN should act in accordance with international absolute laws (the Humanitarian Law, World Human Rights Law, the Crime of Misdemeanors and the Prohibition of Genocide) and provide a basic outline for a constitution that will foster peaceful development of all nations. It should include universal values and a structure that will enable Syria to devise a constitution that will result long-lasting prosperity and serve as a model for peaceful development. Human rights are intrinsic rights, and free speech is foremost among all human rights. "Trying to muzzle the voice of the people, is like trying to stem the flow of a river", and depriving the people of freedom of speech is taking away all of their freedoms. The Russian government should amend its constitution to reflect Article 1 of the US Constitution, which says Congress shall not be allowed to deprive people of freedom of speech and relevant laws. Human security is a fundamental human right which must be accorded higher ranking than any regime or sovereign. Constitution represent the general will of the people and ensure human security, including "personal safety", as the most basic and urgent duty of constitutional guarantors. Constitutions must be amended or re-written as needed to stay in step with the times and ensure that the government will protect the people and keep them free from fear. The costs of corruption are passed on to the people. Russia must seriously consider the sources of corruption in government including constitutional flaws and concentrations of power. The heads of the executive, legislative, judicial and procuratorial branches should be elected in alternating years, and 1/4 of all lawmakers should face election each year. In addition, the president should be limited to a single 5-year term and banned from running for office for 6 years afterwards, and elections should be free of charge for all candidates. The best solution for the CCP's mistreatment of human beings is democracy and the rule of law. Taiwan is the one entity best suited to lead the Chinese people to call for democratization. True democracy will leave the CCP with nothing to support it. China should take steps to have the heads of the legislative, executive, judicial and procuratorial branches elected in alternating years. Sovereignty lies in the hands of the people. The people have the right to call for referendums on any public issues. The legitimacy of referendums outranks the legitimacy of the legislative state, and on any public issue, the people have the right to call for a referendum. Norway and the Swiss chose not to join the EU, thereby choosing their future in an act of self-determination. To ensure that the efforts of the people will not be in vain, the direct vehicle of the referendum must have priority over representative or indirect democracy. The Thames Water Authority was fined 20 million pounds for polluting the Thames River, while In contrast, Taiwan's ASE Group was hit with a fine of – nothing! Taiwan's constitution is broken and comprehensive reform is needed. International law should be given priority over domestic law, with direct bearing on the rights and duties of the people. Promoting the cause of permanent world peace is the most sacred duty for humankind. China acts as an enabler and agent for North Korea, and other nations should try to avoid provoking Pyongyang. The US, Japan and South Korea should support Taiwan’s efforts to lead China to democratize and push North Korea to follow suit, thereby solving the Korean Peninsula issue.
