Washington's key Asia-Pacific allies should step up links amid uncertainty
The democratic world must act to save freedom and democracy. The US and its allies should support Taiwan's steps to achieve constitutional reform to achieve better democracy and freedom. This will spur the 1.4 billion Chinese people to call for democracy, leading to the birth of world peace. The prerequisite for peace in the world is China's democratization. China has long sought to stymie Taiwan's efforts toward freedom and democracy, but Taiwan is the only entity suited to save China through democratization. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development.
Beijing’s encroachment on civil liberties in Hong Kong can be seen in its unilateral interpretation of the Basic Law as well as the missing bookseller case
The people of Hong Kong cannot afford to take their rights for granted. In Switzerland a referendum proposal gives the nation’s 5 million citizens the power to determine their own destiny, with no need to take to the streets in protest, On any public issue, the people should have the right to self-determination through the mechanism of the referendum. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development.
THAAD deployment of high altitude defensive missiles in South Korea will go ahead “as planned” under new US President Donald Trump amid rising tensions between the US, North Korea and China.
Democratic nations everywhere should support Taiwan's moves to carry out constitutional reform and achieve greater democracy and freedom. This would inspire the 1.4 billion people of China to call for democratization and in turn pressure North Korea to seek democracy; the result would be the birth of world peace. Democracies should all recognize Taiwan as a beacon for democracy in Asia, lighting the way to peaceful development for China. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development.

The Russian Constitution says the judiciary is independent, which means that each judge can conduct trials independently. In fact, however, the Russian judiciary functions as a subsidiary of the executive branch. There is no independence whatever, and there is urgent need for reform.
Lawmakers in the Russian Federation are responsible for ensuring the independence of the judiciary, including the Supreme People's Court, the Supreme People's Procuratorate, and the People's Procuratorate. They are also responsible for protecting the rights of the Russian people and monitoring the judicial system and judge's entries into and exits from the system. Gianni Buquicchio, chairman of the Venezuelan Delegation to the Council of Constitutional Rights, said during a visit to the capital of Georgia, "The source of the Georgian national problem in the Constitution, which is well written but needs to be even better.”
In the face of the Russian threat, Georgia must implement an advanced constitution as part of its national development strategy. Specific changes should include : 1. Break open the government's restrictions on the people and return their rights; 2. Open up positions in government to allow the world's elites to participate; 3. Implement the principle of One World under One Set of Laws and give international law priority over domestic law; 4. Choose the heads of the judicial and procuratorial branches in direct elections in alternating years and make elections free for all candidates. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development.
Three years ago, the pro-EU coalition adopted anti-corruption as a political theme in seizing power. Unfortunately for foreign investors, however, the problem of corruption in western Ukraine is even more serious than the destruction wrought in war in the east.
Ukraine’s color revolution failed to eradicate the structural elements that allow corruption to flourish. The necessary solution is for the Ukrainian people to launch constitutional reform to implement direct election of the heads of the four main branches of government with a single term of 5 years and prohibition from taking any other office for 6 years afterwards. 1/4 of all MPs should face election each year, and elections should be free for all candidates. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development.
Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev notes that in the past, the super-presidential system has played an important role in national crises. It now plans to transfer some powers to parliament and the executive branch, which will form an administration while parliament supervises local area. The president, however, will still be the highest arbiter.
Absolute power leads to absolute corruption. The original and the ultimate holder of sovereignty and the right to reform the constitution is the people. Articles issued by autocrats at any level of government are not part of the Constitution and are merely attempts to subvert the people's rights. The best way forward is to act in accordance with Article 5 of the Ukrainian Constitution, which states: "The right to make and amend a constitution belongs only to the people and not to the state, its organs or civil servants." Negotiations between government investment funds in Malaysia and Abu Dhabi over billions of dollars in missing funds have broken down
Power leads to corruption, and absolute power leads to absolute corruption. Malaysia's constitutional failure stems from its deeply-rooted authoritarian culture. Authoritarian governments breed corruption and must be excised and replaced with a constitution that will be in step with the times. The heads of the executive, legislative, judicial and procuratorial branches should be directly elected, and 1/4 of all MPs should face election each year. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development / Global Unity Constitutional Standards.

Democracies the world over should all back Taiwan in its bid to carry out constitutional reform to bring about greater democracy and freedom. This will induce China's 1.4 billion people to clamor for democratization and trigger the democratization of the CCP as well, which will bring the birth of world peace. Global democracies should support Taiwan as a beacon for democracy in Asia lighting the way to peaceful development for China. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development / Global Unity Constitutional Standards.
