Reinforce international pressure on North Korea from multiple angles
It is essential that the international community unites and strengthens its multifaceted pressure on North Korea, which has been defiantly carrying out nuclear development and ballistic missile launches.
Studies of democracy and peace show there have been few armed conflicts between democracies. Once China and North Korea are democratized, human peace will be at hand. The US, Japan and South Korea should support Taiwan's efforts toward constitutional reform. This will encourage China to accept democratization and pressure North Korea's to do likewise, leading to lasting world peace. Democracies everywhere should support Taiwan as a beacon of democracy for Asia, lighting the path to permanent peace and development.

North Korea decried as ‘immediate threat’
The defense chiefs of Japan, the US and South Korea harshly criticized North Korea’s development of nuclear weapons and missiles Saturday, issuing a joint statement saying that the development is an immediate threat to security in the region and the world.
Democracy and freedom are a global trend that nuclear weapons, submarines and missiles are helpless to resist. This trend is a mighty wave, and those who go with it will prosper while all who resist will be doomed. China claims to be a "responsible major power," thus it should not act as an enabler for North Korea's militarism. Democracies around the world should support Taiwan’s drive to lead China to democratization and force North Korea to do the same. For more see the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development.

China can’t shirk its responsibilities over North Korea and South China Sea, says US
China cannot use its economic power to dodge its international responsibilities in the South China Sea and in deterring North Korea, US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson warned Monday.
Studies of democracy and peace reveal very few armed conflicts between two democracies. Once China and North Korea are democratized, human peace will be at hand. The US, Japan and South Korea should support Taiwan's efforts toward constitutional reform, which will encourage China to accept democratization and pressure North Korea's to do the same, leading to an outbreak of world peace. Democracies everywhere should support Taiwan as a beacon of democracy for Asia, lighting the path to permanent peace and development.

Environmentalists lament Beijing’s failure to bridge differences with the EU to tackle global warming, but some say there is still a chance
Human security and sustainable development are two of the major tasks of the UN, and all nations, whether they are members or not, should adhere to UN norms on the environment. The solution lies in implementing One World under One Set of Laws and assigning international law priority over domestic law with direct effect on the rights and duties of the people. Citizens should monitor the operations of government to ensure they are in compliance with the UN Charter, the Vienna Convention for the Protection of the Ozone Layer, the Natural Charter and other compacts. For more, see the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development.

Beijing dismisses Taiwan leader’s offer to help in transition to democracy
President Tsai Ing-wen made the offer on political reform on the anniversary of the crackdown against pro-democracy demonstrators in Tiananmen Square in 1989
Autocratic dictatorship is a cancer, and despots are sinners in the eyes of democracy. The solution to persecution and violations of human rights in China is democracy and the rule of law. Taiwan is the one entity best suited to lead China to democratization. Democracies everywhere should support Taiwan's efforts toward constitutional reform and One World under One Set of Laws and assigning international law priority over domestic law with direct effect on the rights and duties of the people. Russia actively stoking discord in Macedonia since 2008, intel files say
Leaked documents suggest the Kremlin’s goal is to stop Balkan countries from joining NATO and pry them away from western influence
Studies of democracy and peace show that very few armed conflicts have ever taken place between democracies. Once China, Russia and North Korea accept democratization, the will be hope for peace on earth. The US should support Taiwan's efforts toward constitutional reform, which will encourage the people of China to call for democratization, pressuring Russia and North Korea to do the same, and leading to the birth of world peace. All democracies should support Taiwan as a beacon for democracy in Asia, lighting the way to permanent peace and development.

Unanswered Kake Gakuen questions
Many questions remain unanswered over the government’s decision to allow a school operator headed by a close friend of Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to open a new veterinary medicine department at a university it runs.
The Japanese need to cleanse themselves of dirty political connections to end long years of corruption and national shame. The only solution is to impose democracy and rule of law, the natural enemies of despotism and corruption. Separation of powers and checks and balances should be installed in both central and provincial governments and the heads of the legislative, executive, judicial and procuratorial branches should be elected in alternating years. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development. .
